Vegetarian hot dog roll can be made for breakfast/ lunch/dinner or house parties. They never fail to impress you or your guests. In today’s health conscious world, these rolls can be eaten guilt free. They are not only healthy but surely will satisfy your taste buds. This recipe is a winner among adults and kids. It is a delight for vegetarians as it’s juicy, spicy, cheesy and definitely yummmmy.
(You can use veggies of your choice)
Hot dog rolls – 4
Tomato – 1 big
Carrots – 2 grated
Cabbage – 1 cup (chopped)
Capsicum – 1
Onion – 2
Vinegar- 2 tsp
Soya sauce – 1 tsp
Heat oil in a pan. Add onions and fry till translucent. Add chopped potatoes and fry for a minute. Now add chopped tomatoes, cabbage, carrot, capsicum and cook until softened.
Add a pinch of salt and pepper. Add vinegar and soya sauce and stir.
Do not overcook the veggies.
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F. Slit the hot dog rolls length wise without cutting it into two.
Apply tomato ketchup on the inner side of the rolls.
Stuff the veggies and finely chopped onions in it. Sprinkle cheese on top.
Now bake the roll until cheese melts. Serve 🙂
